This is a super simple recipe and can be done so many ways! INSTRUCTIONS Grate an inch of white turmeric and add to bit of water, wait 5 mins and add any sweetener of your choice. For extra credit add a sprinkle of black pepper. White turmeric is also really refreshing used as ice tea and kept in the refrigerator.  Add 4-8 oz of white turmeric to 64 oz hot water and simmer for 10-30 mins depending on how strong you like it. (You can also add green tea to this recipe)  Strain the turmeric add a touch of sweetener if you like let cool. Optional, squeeze a little lemon and keep air tight in the refrigerator. White turmeric is delicious in salads adding some variety, as well as its health benefits!  Bon Appetit!  SALAD INGREDIENTS  1 medium carrot spiralized 3 cucumbers spiralized Scallions Cilantro Toasted sesame seeds Tip from Tawna: If your cucumbers are super juicy remove some of the seeds before spiralizing to ensure your salad doesn’t feel watered down DRESSING INGREDIENTS  2 - 3 tbs soy sauce, tamari or coconut aminos 1/3 - 1/2 cup sesame oil, avocado oil or olive oil 1 tbs toasted sesame oil 3 tbs rice vinegar A squeeze of lime juice 2 inches grated white turmeric 2 cloves of garlic 1/2 inch ginger (optional) 3-ish tbs honey, maple syrup or sweetener of choice Sprinkle black pepper 1-2 tbs water to...

One way we like to use white turmeric in our smoothies. Cheers!  INGREDIENTS  1 cup coconut milk 1 cup coconut water 1 cup chopped ripe pineapple 1 frozen banana 1tbs honey, maple syrup or sweetener of your choice 1 inch white turmeric 1 inch ginger (optional) INSTRUCTIONS Put all ingredients in a blender and blend, blend, blend!!!
